Team building
Communication and decisions under real time pressure.
Teams and companies
A first week is mostly introductions and systems access. A shared 60-minute mission gives new joinees a reason to speak to the people they will actually work with.
At a glance
Communication and decisions under real time pressure.
A faster way for new colleagues to connect through a shared mission.
Put alignment, trust and observation into an active format.
Celebrate a milestone through an experience everyone joins.
New joinees absorb policies, tooling and org charts before they have spoken properly to anyone. A shared mission reverses that: they have to ask, listen and contribute within the first few minutes.
Inside a locked room the useful contribution is whoever noticed the detail, not whoever has been in the company longest. Managers and new joinees end up on the same footing for an hour.
A cohort that has already solved something together has an easier route back to each other later, which matters most in the weeks when a new joinee is deciding whether they fit.
The activity fits a two-hour block, needs no preparation from the new joinees and works for cohorts from a handful of people to several parallel teams.
